Week 4: Honouring emergence

As we have set our intentions for our relationship with Life, as we have drawn our wheels, and are holding space, we are starting to notice what emerges. Some of it will be pleasant, joyful, comfortable and good. Some of it will be painful, hard or frustrating. And this week we are invited to honour all that is brought forward in this relationship. To fully receive and honour all that is here. To celebrate where we can. This is where we stay present in the relationship, and gain the freedom to take our next steps. To claim what it is we want more of, to let Life, the Universe, know what has been enough. This is where we stay present and become true co-creators.

There are four pieces of core-content, and some additional exercises and notes for you to explore when they call you 🙂

And do remember your gratitude practice, it works miracles for your relationship with Life.

Your meditation: Connecting to what is emerging in your journey.

Exercise: Witness each other

This week especially, I invite you to offer our group what is emerging in your life on your spokes. All spokes support each other, all are equally important. And all is welcome. The good, the bad and the ugly. The amazing and the doubtful, the silly and the serious. And use it as a chance to celebrate what you can, in whatever way feels right for you. Celebrate the very small and the big. The hidden gems.

And know that tracking your wheel, maybe even every day, makes it easier to see the small differences, even if the big stuff isn’t happening yet.

A ritual: Celebrate!

We want to stay close to what we enjoy, to what we are grateful for, to what we are happy about. We want to stay especially close to the energy, the feeling of having things/ moments / people in our lives that we enjoy.

It signals to Life what we want more of.

So this week, create a small or big celebration, for something or someone that you would like to celebrate.

It can be ‘just’ celebrating the rays of the sun, the way they peek into your window with a good cup of tea, or a real nice piece of chocolate. Or it can be a full blown surprise party. Whatever fits for you.

Optional exercises:

Growing your ability to receive

There are lots of ways you can grow your ability to receive what you would like to receive from Life.

Have a look, and take the ones that speak to you. Try them this week. And then tell us what happens when you do.

The fairytale of ‘Fair’

I would give a lot for Life to actually be fair. I would love to tell my girl that Life is fair, and good people don’t get sick, and the bad people are always punished. It’s part of the fairytale that we want to believe about Life. And to some extent, it lives inside all of us. ‘The world would be so much better…’ Maybe karma is fair, as the Buddhists would like us to believe. Or maybe we are rewarded in the afterlife, as the Christian church tells us. But here and now, Life is not always fair. Bad things happen to good people (sometimes even done to them by other people). And it just leaves us the question of who we want to be, how we want to act, how we can be in integrity with our own soul, as we dance with this basic fact.
