I settle in for my coaching call. My client comes in sharing she is navigating ‘rough seas’.

We light a candle and presence ourselves.

And what happens next is nothing short of miraculous.

Through waves of unfolding, we follow the trail of her embodied metaphors.

Until she meets the Dark Goddess.

An initiation into the Dark follows.

I can see how much is happening within my client’s body and system: her posture, her movements, the expression on her face. Her eyes are closed most of the time while she shares what is happening.

An energetic entity that wasn’t her is expelled out of her body with the help of the Dark Goddess, and healed in conjunction with the Light.

Integration happens and my clients feels so deeply at home, realising that the Dark Goddess needs Priestesses to show the Darkness is part of life and creation. It is not different from the Light, which is so favoured.

What most stayed with me, personally, was the way my client shared:

‘I didn’t know black could be so beautiful, shimmering, alive….’ – her voice and being filled with such reverence and rapture…

This is the kind of session where my inner Priestess meets the professional coach, merge and hold space at the edge of creation.

And, of course the session ended with a very clear answer to the practical issue that she came with, and the thing she thought was the issue was ‘like an echo from the past’ by the time we were done.

DELICIOUS.

– AND to be clear, none of this happened because I like Priestesses, or identify as one, or because I felt that an initiation could be useful for this client. All the processes in Soul-based Coaching are guided by the client’s soul knowing. And oh my, does the client’s soul know..
